Apply for New Residential Service
Service applications for single-family homes may be completed online. The application process takes approximately five minutes. An e-mail address is needed to send a confirmation receipt.
- Meter information – The location where the meter will be installed and the distance, in feet, from the front of the building to the meter
- Service line length – The distance, in feet, from the property line to the meter location
- Equipment information – The types of natural gas equipment and BTU input for each piece of equipment, if known

2023 Construction
Please note that our construction season cut-off is 9/15/2023. In order to make sure we are able to process your application and meet the construction season cut-off, please provide the documents needed as soon as possible. This cut-off deadline date applies to any service address outside of our Grand Rapids and Muskegon service station territories. If the necessary documents are not provided in time for us to complete the processing of your request, it may not be possible to complete your service installation until spring of 2024.
